Barbour County Fair

Held each year the week before Labor Day at the county fairgrounds; West Virginia's second largest county fair features big-name entertainment at the outdoor pavilion, animals, carnival rides, exhibits, contests, food concessions, car show, farm products, etc. 304.823.1328

Blue & Gray Reunion

Annual reunion held during the first weekend in June each year, commemorating the First Land Battle of the Civil War on June 3, 1861. Event includes battle re-enactments, parade, exhibits, costume ball, quilt show, music, ladies' tea, craft show, and much more for the thousands of visitors; Children's Day events on Friday of the annual event host hundreds of area school children. 304.457.4265

Christmas Parade

Mt. Liberty Fall Festival

"Smokin' on the Tygart" Chili Cook-Off

Annual event sponsored by Philippi Main Street, Inc. on the Court House Square each June; Features many cooking teams from around the state and hosts a variety of activities including children's games, crafts, silent auction, entertainments, as well as opportunities to sample some of the best chili in the area. 304.457.3700

Tacy Fair

Held each year in early August at the Tacy Community Building, located on Route 38, outside of Philippi. Events include live entertainment, homemade ice cream, agricultural exhibits, and much more. 304.457.5183
